Who we are

Draft Prompt is made and sold by Laronge Intellectual Property Development, LLC, a Florida company ("we", "us"). These terms cover the Draft Prompt apps for Mac, Windows, iPhone and Android, Sync, and draftprompt.app. By using Draft Prompt or buying Pro Local or Pro Everywhere, you agree to them. Our Privacy Policy explains what data we keep and why.

The plans

• Free: one tab, on the device you use it on. No account needed, and it doesn't run out.
• Pro Local, a one-time purchase: the full app, without Sync. Bought on draftprompt.app, it comes with a license key by email that you enter in the Mac or Windows app. Bought in the Android or iPhone app, it's tied to the account you buy it with.
• Pro Everywhere, a yearly subscription: the full app plus Sync on every device you sign in on, with the same account.

Prices are on the pricing page and in the app. Sales tax or VAT may be added at checkout, depending on where you live.

The free trial

• On Mac, Windows and Android, you can try Pro Everywhere free for 14 days by tapping Start 14-day free trial in the app. It needs an account but no payment details, and it doesn't turn into a subscription by itself.
• Each email address gets one trial. An account that has had Pro Everywhere or a trial before can't start another.
• When the trial ends, the app goes back to what you had before: Free, or Pro Local if you own it. Your tabs stay.
• We may change or stop the trial offer for new trials at any time. A trial that's already running keeps its 14 days.
• On iPhone, the trial is Apple's: Pro Everywhere starts with 2 weeks free through the App Store, once per Apple Account. It uses your Apple Account's payment details and becomes the yearly subscription unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the 2 weeks end. The iPhone app has no Start 14-day free trial button.

Paying

• On draftprompt.app, Payhip runs the checkout, with card payments through Stripe or payment through PayPal. Payhip's own terms also apply to the checkout.
• In the Android app, Google Play takes the payment, under Google Play's terms.
• In the iPhone app, Apple's App Store takes the payment, under Apple's terms.

Renewing and cancelling Pro Everywhere

Pro Everywhere renews every year, at the price shown when you bought it, until you cancel. If the price changes, we'll tell you before your next renewal, and you can cancel before it renews.

• Bought on draftprompt.app: sign in at the Draft Prompt store (the person icon), then go to Settings, Subscriptions and cancel it there.
• Bought in the Android app: cancel it in Google Play, under Payments and subscriptions.
• Bought in the iPhone app: cancel it in Settings, under your Apple Account, in Subscriptions.

After you cancel, Pro Everywhere stays on until the end of the year you paid for. Deleting your Draft Prompt account doesn't cancel the subscription, so cancel it where you bought it.

Refunds

• Bought on draftprompt.app: if it isn't for you, email hello@draftprompt.app within 14 days of buying and we'll refund it in full. That goes for Pro Local and for a new year of Pro Everywhere.
• Bought in the Android app: refunds go through Google Play, under Google's refund policy. You can also email us and we'll help.
• Bought in the iPhone app: refunds go through Apple, at reportaproblem.apple.com, under Apple's refund policy. You can also email us and we'll help.
• A refund takes the app back to the free version, and doesn't open up a new free trial. Your tabs stay.

If you're in the EU or UK, you agree that the full app starts right away when you buy it, so the 14-day right to cancel that applies to some online purchases ends once it's unlocked. Our own 14-day refund above still applies.

Your account and your content

• What you write in Draft Prompt is yours. We don't claim any rights to it. With Pro Everywhere, we store your tab text only so we can sync it to your devices, as the Privacy Policy describes.
• Keep your email account safe: signing in to Draft Prompt uses a code sent to it.
• You can delete your account at any time (see Deleting your account).

Fair use

Please don't use Draft Prompt or Sync to break the law, store anything you don't have the right to store, overload or attack our server, or get around how purchases are unlocked. Don't share or resell your license key. If someone does, we may switch off that key or account.

Sync and updates

We work to keep Sync running and your tabs safe, but we can't promise it will never go down or never lose anything, so keep anything important somewhere else too. We'll keep improving the apps, and we may change or remove features. If we ever stop offering Sync, we'll tell you at least 30 days ahead and refund the unused part of any Pro Everywhere year.

Limits

Draft Prompt is provided as it is, without warranties beyond what the law requires. As far as the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us for Draft Prompt in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms takes away rights you have under the consumer laws where you live.

The law that applies

These terms are governed by the laws of Florida, USA. If you're a consumer in the EU or UK, you also keep the protection of your own country's consumer laws, and you can bring a claim in your own courts.

Changes to these terms

If these terms change, the new version goes on this page with a new effective date. If a change matters for what you've paid for, we'll say so in the apps or by email first.
